MRT train hit by lightning, caught fire

An MRT train caught ablaze when a lightning hit it during a thunderstorm. The awesome but terrifying event was caught on cam by a netizen. In the video, it can be seen that heavy rains are pouring while streaks of lightning suddenly ripped the sky from afar appearing to hit the monument in EDSA shring. A few moments later, a southbound MRT train passes and another bolt of lightning struck it causing it to stop as it's front car took fire. Passengers of the train was forced to walk to Santolan station. No one was reported to have been hurt in the incident.
