Senators Tito Sotto and Manny Pacquiao made the senate hall crack up when they turned the issue of death penalty into a laughing stock. People got different views about the matter though. Some conservatives call the two elected officials' banter distasteful while supporters of Pacman and fans of noontime shows calls the conservatives hypocrites.
 The joke came in when Senator Sotto pressed Senator Pacquiao on what methods of choice he wants for death penalty. The Pambansang Kamao answered with death by hanging of firing squad as his preferred choice quipping "sisimpain lang po yung upuan".
