President Rodrigo Duterte named Senator Leila De Lima as an adulterer for allegedly having an affair with her driver. The president also said that the senator was receiving money from drug lords inside the New Bilibid Prison.
 According to Duterte, De Lima's driver who she was having a romantic affair with is the one who acts as a bag man tasked with collecting drug money that was used in the former justice secretary's senatorial campaign this last election. Meanwhile, netizens have different reactions to the presidents tirades against the senator with some calling it unbecoming of a president while some says De Lima deserved to be shamed. Senator De Lima issued a statement regarding the matter crying foul of the presidents 'character assassination' on her.
